You'll be heard the moment you sit down — no install, no account.
Create a room, share the code, and everyone lands in the same clearing around a campfire. Each participant occupies a position you can move, and audio is mixed in 3D from those positions: someone to your left is heard on your left, and voices grow quieter with distance. Side conversations can happen without talking over the group, the way they do in a physical room.
Everything runs in the browser with no install or account — peer-to-peer voice and video, optional screen sharing, chat, reactions, raised hands, and a narrator that reads text aloud to the room.
Four kinds of room
Campfire
The room as a scene: everyone stands around a fire and voices come from where they stand.
Proximity
A square map you walk freely. Come close to somebody and you share a bubble: inside it you hear each other in full, outside it everyone is a whisper.
Team games
Three areas in one room: Team 1, the hall and Team 2. You hear the area you stand in, and walk between them yourself.
Plain
An ordinary call: tiles, every voice at the same volume, no panning and nowhere to walk.
How it works
- 1
Open a link. There is nothing to install and nothing to sign up for.
- 2
Give a name and pick an animal. That is the whole of it for joining.
- 3
Talk. Everyone lands in the same clearing, and every voice comes from where its owner stands.
Who sits at this fire
Tabletop groups
Four to eight people for several hours around one shared fiction. Placing a voice to one side is how a game master says a character is standing there.
Gaming groups
One link gets everyone in, including on a club machine where nothing is installed and nobody is logged in. Split off for a match, come back for the lobby.
Everyday calls
Two or three people who need to talk right now. A room code short enough to read out loud, on a device that does not have to be yours.
Everything past the fire is optional
- Spatial audio — each voice is panned and quietened by where its owner stands.
- Movement — step aside for a word with one person without talking over the group.
- Video and screen sharing — switched on per room, never needed to be heard.
- Chat, reactions and raised hands — for what should not interrupt anybody.
- Host controls — whoever lit the fire decides what happens around it.
Questions
Do I need an account?
Only to create a room, so that every room has somebody accountable for it. Joining one never asks.
How many people fit?
A handful comfortably. Voices travel straight between browsers, and video moves to a server once a room is big enough to need it.
Is anything recorded?
No. Audio and video travel between participants for as long as the room lasts, and the room stops existing once the last person leaves.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, in the browser. Headphones are what make the spatial mix audible, on any device.
